One of the world’s leading insurance groups is looking to recruit a Senior Commercial Claims Technician to work within the Commercial Claims department.
About the Company:
Our client is an Insurance business providing a range of personal and commercial insurance products via the intermediary market with a proven track record for providing outstanding customer service and consistently priced products such as Motor, Household, Travel and Small Commercial package insurance.
About the Role:
Working as a Senior Commercial Claims Technician, you will be required to manage high value and more technical commercial claims. Specific duties will include;
Train and develop staff on all commercial related products
Write and maintain all training material
Manage the quality auditing of commercial claims
Act as the technical referral point for all team members
Assist with team meetings and provide assistance and support to the controller and deputise wherever necessary
Deal with complaints
Assist in projects when required

Key Skills/Experience:
In order to be considered for the role of Senior Commercial Claims Technician, you must possess the following;
Experience of commercial SME products – retail / manufacturing and Leisure
Ideally must have extensive experience in handling both injury and property claims
A good understanding of a Commercial Claims environment including relevant protocols and legislation
Strong investigative mind with a good awareness of fraud
Must have a full understanding of the key drivers of claims cost containment and service provision
Salary & Benefits
Salary is up to £32,000p.a depending on experience.
